Hello we are Rachel Lloyd and Kim Jones and we have been the proud owners of The Homestead Nursery in Gresford Since May 2017.
We are both Mums to 3 lovely children so know the challenges and joys of bringing up children on a personal level.
Rachel is a former Early Years teacher and Kim a former nurse and Health Visitor, so we also have a great deal of professional child care experience In our different roles.
We have known each other for….a very long time!!! We have been friends since our daughters started at Gresford Playgroup together and have loved watching them grow up.
We wanted to open our own nursery as we were frustrated in our professions at not being able to always put our research based beliefs into practice. we also wanted to offer unique, quality child care in our local area so that parents are able to choose a lovely setting, where we create an interesting environment for children to have different experiences, explore and investigate, whatever their age and stage of development.
